Simply state your interest on the group rental form and our coordinating producer will provide pricing information with your quote.
Q: Why can’t I just by the Library DVD and show it publicly?
Our Library Edition of Gen Silent (like most DVDs at a library) is not intended for public exhibition. That is because we must pay royalties and other fees each time the film is shown to a group or publicly. With the advent of the internet it’s is difficult for a public or group screening to occur without our knowledge.
Q: Who is using Gen Silent?
Gen Silent’s most recent screenings include Fortune 500 companies, more than forty film festivals, the nation’s leading centers of learning as well as its largest conferences on aging and advocacy. We are even prouder of the number of community centers, places of worship and student groups using Gen Silent.
Q: Can I have two smaller screenings for the price of one larger screening?
Unfortunately not. We must charge each time the film is played. Many of our costs (like rights and licenses) are incurred each time the play button is pressed. What may seem like a large sum, is a fair price for our cost to create and show this critically-acclaimed film.
Q: How long is Gen Silent?
The full-length film is 63 minutes. We strongly suggest planning time for discussion afterwards.
Q: When do I get my copy of the film?
Approximately 14 days prior to your scheduled screening a folder will arrive by priority mail with the DVD and other helpful information, including a stamped-self-addressed envelope for dropping the DVD in the mail after your screening. Think Netflix.
Q: What if I need support before my screening?
